About the Item
An antique Chippendale style tilt-top pie crust table by Ware & Co, from their Collectors Group. Handmade of solid mahogany with scalloped edge top, tilt mechanism, brass latch, turned & fluted pedestal, three legs with carved knees and ball in claw feet. Made in the USA, in the early 20th century.
Measures: Overall: Top Down: 24.25W 24.25D 28H, Tilted Up: 39.75H, Knee Clearance: 27.5H.
Very good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. Some blemishes and minor scratches to top. Tilt mechanism and latch function properly. Structurally sound and sturdy.
