Child's Rattan and Mahogany Vanity with Matching Chair

About the Item

This Mid-Century Modern vanity in rattan and mahogany features an attached circular mirror, five drawers for plenty of storage and a matching chair. This set was custom built for a little girl in 1934 who belong to a prominent West Los Angeles family. The finest craftsmanship and materials went into it's construction which can be seen when viewing in person. The chair measures: 22" x 10.5" wide x 13.25" deep, seat height is 12." The vanity / desk measures: 43.5" high x 38" wide x 16" deep, desk height is 23" high. Cushions made to order included. The cushions pictured in these photos are for display use only, we might have them please ask. All cushions are c.o.m. (customers own material) simply send us your Fabric and we will have the cushions made for you. New cushions take 2 weeks to be completed. We always have white naugahyde cushions in stock. Designed in the manner of Paul Frankl. All rattan, bamboo and wicker furniture has been painstakingly refurbished to the highest standards with the finest materials. All refinishing is done by rattan workers with over 20 years of experience in rattan refinishing. Every wrapping and joint has been inspected by “The Rattan Man” Harvey Schwartz to guarantee you the finest product available for years to come for your home or office. All rattan, bamboo and wicker has been painstakingly refurbished using the finest materials by Master Craftsman under the supervision of Harvey Schwartz the leading expert and author of "Rattan Tropical Comfort Throughout the House." Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Vanity is in very good original condition. Chair has a few cracked straps and loose strap on the back leg - neither of these pose any structural issues.
