Mid-19th Century Fir Wood Veneered in Mahogany and marble Sicilian Vanity Table

About the Item

This Sicilian vanity table is an exquisite piece of furniture representative of the design trends and craftsmanship of that era. The primary structural material is fir wood, chosen for its strength and workability. The exterior is veneered in mahogany, a prized wood for its rich color and grain pattern, providing both durability and an opulent appearance. The vanity table features a white marble top, adding a touch of luxury and elegance. The vanity table incorporates one drawer and two compartments for storing toiletries, makeup, or other personal items. These storage spacesare discreetly integrated into the design, maintaining the table's aesthetic appeal. The original mercury mirror giving it a slightly distressed and antique appearance. The mirror is a focal point, serving both a functional purpose for grooming and reflecting the design aesthetics of the time.
