Japanese Kimono Art / Embroidered Wall Art, Mother's Rose

About the Item

Japanese Kimono Art by Kimono-Couture Title: Mother's Rose This embroidery, using kimono obi woven using traditional Japanese methods, is a striking Kimono Art with a beautiful rose and golden bamboo. The rose is considered by many people to be a symbol of “love” and “beauty,” and its meaning is “purity,” “deep respect” and ""worthiness.” Each color also has its own meaning; the orange rose represents “passion” and “bonding.” Bamboo is a symbol of "healthy growth" and "steadfast loyalty" as it grows straight, strong, and spreads lush green leaves even in the cold of winter. As described in "Taketori-Monogatari" (the oldest story in Japan), it has been believed since ancient times that spiritual power resides in the joints and knots of bamboo. Thus, bamboo has been long cherished as a mysterious good-luck charm. We are proud to present this Japanese Kimono Art, which we believe will make your lovely home brighter, more luxurious, and leave a special impression as a symbol of love.
