French 19th C. Acanthus-Carved Wood Wall Plaque

About the Item

A French carved-wood plaque from the 19th century. This antique wall decoration from France features a rectangular-shaped frame, comprised of straight-boards, with center adorn in a hand-carved relief motif of scrolling acanthus leaves. There is a beautiful movement to this piece with the leaves dancing playfully about. This 19th century French carved-wood wall plaque will be a wonderful decorative piece while adding warmth and texture to your wall. Measure: Approximately 4 ft wide.
