A pair of French hand carved wooden decorative panels from the 18th century, with ribbon-tied swags, flowers and fruits. Born in France during the Age of Enlightenment, each of this pair of wooden architectural panels features a swag, hand carved in low-relief and concealing either fruits of flowers. The delicate fabric is tied with ribbons, whose graceful movement creates an undeniable sense of liveliness. Surrounded by a simple rectangular molding, each scene exudes a simple elegance that will make these French, 18th century panels an excellent decorative choice for any home, perhaps placed above a pair of demilune tables, chests or beds.
