About the Item

A stunning and extremely high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period patinated Bronze and Ormolu plaques, signed F. Barbedienne. Each most decorative wall decor displays a beautiful and finely detailed maiden at the center standing draped in wonderfully executed flowing period attire. One maiden is holding an amphora on her shoulder while the other has one laying at her feet. All original gilt and warm patination throughout.
