About the Item

A period Parisian silver bas-relief wall plaque, set in the highest quality velvet surround. Possibly a water based sporting honour dated, ‘1900’. Very fine workmanship visible throughout. Signed ‘F. LeLevillain.’ Ferdinand Levillain (1837-1905) was a highly renowned French sculptor working with the Barbedienne Foundry in the 1860's and 1870's. L 54 cm x H 37 cm x D 6 cm
