Set of TWELVE Ceramic Wall Tiles Square hand enamelled, circa 1930
About the Item
These are a good set of twelve glazed ceramic wall tiles, hand enamelled with a bird theme, probably over an underglaze printed outline and dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1930.
Each tile is nominally 4.25 inches ( 11cm) square. There are two versions of six different patterns with individual differences in the painted detail. The tiles are in good condition and have the remains of tiling cement on the back.
Overall, an interesting, colourful and individual set of tiles for display or use.
