19th Century Oil on Canvas Portrait of a Gentlewoman A Delightful portrayal of a kindly lady, she is seated wearing a Black Silk Gown and a white pleated lace collar and bonnet, going by the costume we can take the date to be around 1850 The painting has finely executed detail to the fabric and it is set in a 2.5”gilt frame The painting has been relined and there is evidence of a repair to the canvas, it is 40”x 32” AC180.
