This listing is for a beautiful pair of 2 large Chinese Export Gouache (watercolor) Paintings on paper from the mid-19th century of the Qing Dynasty. They were painted in a delicate composition and the supper painting skill to create such beautiful art. The dress and color were all real life-style in the period in China that presented the luxurious culture of living.
The paintings are still in very good condition with certain spotting, soiling, and toning caused by age.
They are framed with glass.
