Abstract Mixed Media Painting on Canvas Vintage
About the Item
An abstract canvas on canvas painting in multi-tonal pinks by American artist Vera Simons.
Inset squares of pink tones are cut through with one of purple. The interior of the painting features a finer fabric, crumpled and pressed so that it has an organic landscape feel.
Signed Vera Simons, Dune pattern, 1986. A similar work by V. Simons was sold at Christie's in 2005.
Very good condition, some marks and wear mostly on edges natural to its age.
