About the Item
A wonderful modernist impasto oil painting by E. Francisco, dating from the mid-1970s, featuring excellent colour and texture. In great condition and one of those paintings that will grow on you, as it has done on us.
We love it for the rough texture and the rich tapestry of colors in saturated tones. These colors are really of the minute - deep reds, purples and yellows that vibe with color saturated upholstery and dark walls.
A wonderful addition to a modernist or maximalist interior. Very versatile. We can’t recommend this one enough. It has the quality of revealing more charm the longer you live with it.
In very good overall condition, this one is ready to hang and has an adjustable hook and wire system attached to the back of the frame. Framed in plain aluminium, which sets off the deep tonal and textural study of the painting.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Frame sound. Canvas and paint sound. Many small fissures in painting surface, see images, however there is no loss and the paint is secure. A minor scuff here and there to frame, one very slight dent to canvas surface. Overall very good condition.
