Offering a serene Danish landscape, oil on canvas, circa 1818 signed M.R.
Soothing cottage retreat on the water in earthy tones compliments various styles from rich to neutral color schemes.
Showcased in original sleek and sturdy solid wood frame of the period.
Artwork is in good condition with wear commensurate with age. A few minor imperfections are observed along paths that could be repaired. Please examine photos carefully for details.
As is, I believe these “flaws” lend to the age and authenticity of the piece and add a sense of character without compromising the beauty of the landscape.
