Signed Hoppe on the side with motif from Søndermarken. measures incl. frame H 48½ W 68 D 4 cm Erik Hoppe, 19.6.1897-21.5.1968, Danish painter. Hoppe, one of the most important Danish colorists of the 1900s, was educated as a craft painter and at the Academy of Fine Arts 1918-20.
