About the Item
This is a miniature watercolor painting featuring the ceremony to secure the Tower of London by the British Beefeaters (They are in charge to protect the Crown Jewels). The guards are painted with red uniforms and black hats. A green landscape with trees are in the back together with part of the tower. The painting is surrounded by a gold mat board with a design of different colors of brushstrokes. The gilt frame of the painting is adorned with some cylindrical beads.
