Khaled Al-Rahal (also referred to as Khālid al-Raḥḥāl, 1926-1987) (Arabic: خالد الرحال) was an Iraqi painter and sculptor, one of the leaders of the modern art movement in Iraq. Called one of the "pillars of modern Iraqi art," he was responsible for the creation of a series of high-profile public monuments in Baghdad in the mid-20th century.
The author is also known as Kalid al Rahal or Khaled Rahhal.
The painting measures 40x70x0.4 cm and is signed "Kalid" at lower right.
It is in good condition and has undergone surface cleaning and consolidation of the pictorial surface.
