Unusual oil on canvas in the cubist style signed Roger Pierre. Although in the cubist style the colours and feel of the piece suggest it might have been painted as late as the 1940s. This fresh colour palette was more popular around that period. It comes complete with original frame which is distressed. The artist has painted the figure with a cheeky, fun expression and the work has considerable charm.
