About the Item
A fine art original automotive watercolor by the acclaimed Bill Neale who's works covered racing, historic cars and scenes from the drivers prospective. Bill's work has been featured in publications like Road & Track, Car & Driver, Cavalino magazine and other books and posters. Many of his pieces are on display in major automotive museums and private collections being a member of the Automobile Fine Arts Society or AFAS. He was a very good friend of Carroll Shelby who played a big part in Bill's depictions of racing Cobras and Fords from the period and together came up with the legendary Terlingua Racing Team.
Signed to the front in watercolor and to the back in ink with the title "Grand Rest Stop" from his works of the Colorado Grand Rallye his subjects being an Austin Healey 3000 and two Ferrari's.
