- Condition:Repaired: The painting of the brunette has 3 repairs, 2 in the bottom left and 1 in the mid-right of the image. The bottom back of the redhead's frame shows water damage, but the front is okay. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. Both paintings are gouaches on paper. Both paintings show some peeling, and both carry layers of varnish that were brush stroked. The varnishing was possibly done in an attempt to protect the painting as there are tiny areas where the paint cracked.
