About the Item
Gorgeously detailed and voluptuously painted, this superb depiction of pan playing his pipes in a paradise full of extravagant life -- including rabbits, squirrels, crested birds and stylized, Art Deco foliage -- was created by Einar Petersen, a California artist known for his exotic mural painting. Petersen painted a set of murals on the theme of "Aladdin and His Lamp" for the Spring Street Guaranty Building and Loan Association and others for the Mayflower Hotel, Schaber's Cafeteria and other hotels, all in Los Angeles. (The dimensions include the frame.) The painting is executed in gouache and is signed by the artist.

Einar Petersen, a California artist, is known for his exotic mural painting.
