Beautiful Painting depicting portrait of Nobleman/Gentleman with wig.
Painting of remarkable pictorial quality and scenic impact.
The depiction of the man is rich in detail and perfectly embodies the noble figures of the time.
The tones in general are dark, both in the clothes, the subject, and even the background. In the background we can make out a landscape in the distance.
The painting is imposing, conveying to us this idea of wealth to the point of enriching the room that will house it and making it even more important.
The oval shape makes the work even more appealing; the frame is composed of a double golden border alternating with a greenish section. Oval painting, oil on canvas technique.
