About the Item
We are offering an original framed oil on canvas by the 20th century listed American painter Robert De Chatelenne. The artist received his formal training at the Academie De La Grande Chaumiere in Paris. While attending the Academie he was also influenced towards his highly impressionist style by the world renowned artist, Edouard Cortes. His works have been exhibited in Paris and London as well as the United States. This is a fine example of Robert De Chatelenne's work, fresh out of a collector's estate and shown here for the first time since it was acquired by them from a showing by the artist years ago. The canvas measures 13" x 18" with a framed size of 24.25" x 29".
