Oil on canvas by Hans Osswald (1919–1983).
Hans August Osswald (originally Andersson) was born on 29th August 1919 in Örebro. He was a Swedish painter and book illustrator.
Osswald first exhibited at Louis Hahnes Konsthandel, Stockholm in 1947. Other exhibitions include Örebro (1951), Kalmar (1952), Dalarnas Art Association in Falun; ABF, Ludvika (1951) and a 'Graphic and Sculpture' (Grafik och Skulpturs) travelling exhibition in 1953.
Examples of his work can be seen at the National Museum in Stockholm, Malmö Museum and Eskilstuna museum.
