Original 1929 black and white press photograph of Otto Kahn's "Oheka II". Otto Hermann Kahn (1867-1934) was a German investment banker who built "Oheka Castle", the 127-room, 109,000 square foot castle in Huntington, New York. "Oheka" is a word born from Kahn's name, Otto Hermann Kahn. The 74' yacht was designed as a "high-speed motor launch capable of use on holidays upon both the River Rhine and the North Sea". She was launched in 1927. Photograph is matted and framed 13 x 15.
