1979 Rocky II Original Vintage Poster
About the Item
Released in 1979 to critical and commercial success, "Rocky II" saw Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers and many more of the original cast return to their iconic roles. As with the first film, it was written and directed by Stallone, with the story seeing Apollo Creed convince Rocky Balboa into the "rematch of the century" for the Heavyweight championship.
This beautiful and incredibly rare design, known as the "rematch" design, is from the original promotion of the film in 1979 and is stylised in a boxing match promotion with "tickets on sale at box office". A brilliant piece of cinema history, the piece looks great framed.
