Original Italian preliminary artwork. Gouache on art board. This art work was designed to be used on the Italian 55 x 39 inch poster. The Classic 1961 Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard movie directed by Blake Edwards is one of the most sort after titles of all time and original art work hardley ever turns up on this legendary title. The art work is by Lorenzo Nistri (1923-2008) one of Italy's most famous poster designers who did create the final Italian 55 x 39 inch poster based on this preliminary artwork. The art work is conservation framed with acid free mounts and museum glass.
