Poster for the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français (SNCF) produced by Pierre Fix-Masseau in 1938 to promote winter tourism to mountainous destinations in France.

Pierre Fix-Masseau is a French poster and graphic designer. He is the son of the sculptor Pierre-Félix Fix-Masseau (1869-1937). He studied at the Ecole Boulle in 1921, then at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris, from which he graduated in 1923. In 1927, after having completed his military service in Morocco as a draftsman in the Army Geographical Service , he creates luxury labels and boxes for perfumery for the Nortier printing company. In 1928, he entered the service of Cassandre, with whom he worked in collaboration for six months. He then worked for the Edita house until 1939. From 1940, he became independent and remained so until his death in 1994.
