Additional Details: This poster was produced to promote technical education training within the French School of Radioelectricity, namely: - preparatory courses - normal courses (training of radiotelegraph operators and radioelectrician technical agents) - higher courses (training of radio engineers) The school is located at 10 rue Amyot, Paris 5th. Two centers have opened in the provinces, one in Rouen and the other in Bordeaux. The French School of Electronics and Computer Science was founded in 1936 under the name “French School of Radioelectricity” (EFR), with the aim of training senior technicians specialized in the manipulation of radio waves. In 1945, it was recognized by the State and created the “engineer” section in 1947. Ten years later, the Engineering Qualifications Commission authorized the school to issue the engineering title. Computer science teaching was introduced in 1969, then networks. In 1973, the school changed its name and became the “French School of Electronics and Informatics” (EFREI).
