About the Item

Original antique advertising poster for a popular cycling magazine Bearings featuring a great Art Nouveau style design by the American artist Charles Arthur Cox depicting a lady in fashionable dress standing on the side with an umbrella looking towards an unhappy man cycling in the rain with the water splashing up from his bike and trees visible through the downpour, the artwork set within a red border decorated with calligraphic lettering down the side and yellow swirls, Bearings Out Today For Sale Here. Very good condition, small tears on left and right margins, minor paper loss at bottom left and right corners, backed on linen.
