Original antique travel advertising poster for London Underground featuring a scenic riverside landscape in Teddington showing smartly dressed people enjoying a picnic break on sailing boats on the shore of a calm River Thames with a Union Jack flag flying at the top of the first mast, a group of people punting on another boat, people walking along the tree lined embankment path, a man fishing and more sails visible behind a wooden breakwater. Artwork by the British painter, engraver and lithographer Anthony Raine Barker (1880-1963). Printed by Johnson Riddle & Co. Ltd. Large size. Horizontal. Excellent condition, tear in right margin, corners cut to rounded.
