You Only Live Twice

About the Item

Original US lobby card for You Only Live Twice. This is the best lobby card from the set of 8 cards feturing Sean Connery in Little Nelly. This was the fifth James Bond film produced by Eon Productions. It was directed by Lewis Gilbert, in the first of three Bond films that he would direct for Eon Productions. The screenplay for the film was written by Roald Dahl, and is vaguely based on Ian Fleming's 1964 novel. During filming it was announced that Sean Connery would retire from playing Bond, although he did make a come back in Diamonds are Forever in 1971 and Never Say Never Again in 1983. This lobby card is conservation framed with UV plexiglass in an Obeche wood frame with card mounts and UV plexiglass. The size given is before framing. The piece would be shipped boxed by Federal Express.
