The Elizabethan mansion was built from local ham stone in the late 16th century by Sir Edward Phelps, Master of the Rolls and the Prosecutor during the Gunpowder Trial. In Elizabethan style after the manor, this unusual detailed and intricate model is constructed from pine with some internal features including stairs and fireplaces.
