This antique engraving is an illustration from the monumental work of the "Encyclopédie Méthodique" published by Charles-Joseph Panckoucke in 1793. The image is an antique plate illustrating various hunting traps. The top portion shows a landscape with a trap set in a field, the middle section displays detailed diagrams of trap mechanisms, and the bottom section presents different traps in a natural setting. Good. General age related toning and occasional light staining from handling and an overall brown hue, as visible on image, adding it its patina. The edges rough with small tears. Study the images carefully.
