Including: Le Serpent, Le Bouvier, Pegase and Hercule along with other identified constellations on each page. Le Serpent with a fold down the center. The French edition of 27 plates published by Jean Fortin, 1776, after the earlier English edition of John Flamsteed color engravings. sight each 7 3/4 x 9" silvered frames 16 x 17" Condition: The frames have some chips to the silver, the engravings are in very good condition and the set presents very well.
