This is a signed cat postcard by Louis Wain called "I felt rather upset at not hearing from you", originally posted in Edwardian England, circa 1905. The card is in a new frame. This card is an original Edwardian, Cat Themed Postcard by artist Louis Wain published by P M & Co.'s Start off! Series No. 4249, Printed in Austria. The frame is new and allows the back of the card to be seen and a rear insert is included to allow the card frame to be wall hung. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Louis Wain, (1860-1939) Louis Wain was one of the most popular commercial illustrators in the history of England. He produced hundreds of different drawings and portrayals of anthropomorphic large eyed cats and kittens (for which he was best known). This helped promote the popularity of cats and captured the imagination of the Edwardian era.
