Ship Portraits in Porcelain by Bing & Grøndahl, 1970s, Set of 4

About the Item

The Danish Ship portrait masterJakob Petersen (1774 - 1855), student of C. W. Eckerberg made these images on consignment during the 19th century. In association with The Commerce and Shipping Museum Bing & Grondahl made these porcelain images during the 1970s. Each in a limited run of 3500. The certificates of authenticity are present to the backside of each of them. They come as a set of 4 and all still retain their original frame. Measurements: 38x30x3 cm. This set would be a great addition to any setting where a historic nautical, maritime theme are desired.
