Gorgeous Antique Persian Oriental hand woven wool on cotton diamond leaf pattern & floral rug wall hanging. This wall hanging is a smaller piece cut from a larger rug and the edges have been bound. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are some small old holes on the bottom half. You have to search to find. It is a wool on cotton HAND WOVEN rug with a design of gorgeous deep red leaves which create a diamond pattern featuring multicolored floral bouquets inside each diamond. The warp is cotton, and the weft is wool, it has fringe on the top and bottom of the rug, and it hangs looped on a lovely brass plated hollow tube bar… it’s incredible to say the least! Do you have an unsightly linen closet or maybe an electrical panel in a spot on the wall you find unattractive? Perfect! This wall hanging will cover that area nicely and still allow you access if necessary. Have a hole or blemish in the closet door?
