Antique Silkwork embroidery of a bird in a tree. The embroidery is worked in silks on silk ground, in a variety of stitches. Colours black, blue, copper, pink, brown and green. Subject depicts a bird perched in a tree. Framed in an old gilded wood frame with rippled, old glass. Mounting: The embroidery is fixed to card. Frame backed with brown paper. Dimensions exclude the frame and slip.

- Condition:Generally Good. Slight deterioration of ground in places. Ground has a tight split at the top. A few patchy stains. No stitch losses. Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading. No colour run. Neatly and evenly stretched. Frame showing.
