About the Item
The work consists of textile sculptures that combine bamboo sticks with fabrics. They are part of the result of a research project that had its starting point in old flying kites. A series of pieces have been made, through playful experiments with shape and construction, where bamboo sticks function as skeletons carrying textiles. Techniques included are also textile print and hand sewn appliqué.

Black and pink cotton fabric, pink silk fabric, gold coloured print, bamboo sticks.
