Joanna Louca Handwoven Textile #2

About the Item

Handwoven textile by the Cyprian specialist weaver Joanna Louca. The intersection of red, white, off-white, blue, aqua and brown threads create a grid defining areas of colors, of which just some repeat regularly. The result is a geometric pattern reminiscent of abstract minimalist 20th century painting like the ones by Agnes Martin. Length includes bottom and side tassels, it hangs through a metal bar, which is fitted at the top of the textile.
