Presents very well with crisp and well defined carving . A Giltwood wall carved trophy. The banners tilt out , with center helmet and shield .Of military inspiration against background of banners and military accessories .
Sturdy and stable
This concept in wall decorations originated in the 18th century as both in individual sculpture and part of a room boiserie. They appear as natural wood, painted, gilded decorative accents or wall appliques.
Wear, some intentional, some from further age and use showing red bole etc. With typical dirt, grime from ages, Nicks, dings , minute losses and the usual typical wear from time, age and use .
