These sculptural porcelain pieces – inspired by the sun and the sea of Sorrento in the Amalfi coast - work beautifully either freestanding as well as wall hanging. All details and 'petals' are individually hand-modelled.
Martha Pachon Rodriguez (Colombia, 1967) originally from Colombia, moved to Italy to complete her ceramic studies in Faenza, one of the most representative ceramic production centres in Italy. Her porcelain sculptures often evoke sea creatures and the underwater world using slabs of extreme fineness allowing her to obtain stunning transparency and color effects.
