    Perfect size, best price, 19th century Chinese stand, with calligraphy-like marks underneath. This entirely handcrafted, Chinese table from circa 1880-1890 is as strong and stable as the day it was made and it has the most beautiful patina. Thanks to its ideal design and size this, to us, is the perfect wine table or perhaps a pedestal for an Asian spiritual sculpture. Unfortunately we know nothing about the carved mythological, Chinese figures/creatures (possibly dragons) on each corner. All sides of this solid wooden table also come with striking flower motives and all legs have carved, claw feet. The bottom of the solid wooden structure of this Asian table is marked with Chinese calligraphy -like letters stating its country of origin. Apart from some minor restorations to the wood (that give this antique table even more character), this stylish and rare table is in excellent condition and it is definitely ready for you to use and enjoy.
