Pair 1940s Carved Wood Arm Chairs With Blue Leather Upholstery U.S.A.Circa 1940s Originally purchased at Marshall Field and Company's State Street store in the 1940s, these carved wood club chairs are finished in a distressed gray glazing over white undercoat. The open arm sections are filled with heavy brass mesh, and the upholstery is blue metallic leather that has acquired a nice patina over the years. The style is much in the manner of Grosfeld House.
