A vintage American set of eight dining chairs with hand painted chinoiserie. This set of chairs, which consist of 2 armchairs and six side chairs, feature upholstered seats and backs, with red and gold tone painted wood frames, in a lovely chinoiserie of floral, shell, and temple embellishments. The chairs are presented upon cabriole-style front legs which terminate into padded feet, and gently splayed rear legs.
