Lounge Chair designed by Saarinen for Knoll, 1948. Covered with Guannar Aagaard Andersen's "Letters," Fabric designed in 1955 and reissued by Maharam Textiles. Knoll's “medium womb chair,” is a scaled down version of classic womb chair. Here we have a manageable lounge chair for tighter spaces making this a perfect, "bedroom lounge." The less grandiose scale calls to mind Pierre Paulin's seating designs for Artifort which offer generous comfort in petite packages.
