inscibed on verso: MONO LAKE
Marion Parsons exhibited at the Oakland Art Gallery (now the Oakland Museum) in 1932 and at the Palace of Legion of Honor during the 1940s with the San Francisco Society of Women Artists.
This work is done with oils on masonite and exhibits elements of Surrealism, Modernism, and Regionalism. There is a biography for the artist attached to the back of the work, as well as some previous auction records.
The painting is presently mounted in a contemporary gilded wood frame.
