MANHATTAN Large Vintage Porcelain Sign
About the Item
This is a large porcelain face neon can sign from the 1940-1950's era. Originally all lettered in Neon, this sign is in exceptional condition and still retains that wonderful glossy porcelain finish. The white lettering stands out against the deep cobalt blue background.
The sign was made by the J. F. Zimmerman and Sons Company that was established in 1901 in Dallas, Texas. Their original porcelain nameplate is mounted on the front lower right side of the neon sign.
