A very stylish Art Deco cire perdue (lost wax) bronze sculpture of a cross-country skier, circa 1925 with all-original patina and finish, the skier in traditional period dress is depicted forging ahead with his sticks through the snow. Set on a bronze sôcle signed Sabouret, bronze and bearing foundry marks for Susse Frères Editeurs-Paris.
